School board backs upcoming library millage
The Monroe Public Schools Board of Education voted Tuesday night to support the upcoming eight-year, one-mill operating levy renewal, which will be on the August 7 ballot. The existing millage, which provides about 83 percent of revenue for the Monroe County Library System, expires this year.
