Monroe Public Schools  Positive Action Committee was established with the mission to empower, encourage and education staff to attain and maintain healthy bodies, healthy lifestyles, and healthy minds.   

The Goals of the Positive Action Committee are:          

1.    To emphasize the importance of equality between groups as members and employees of Monroe Public Schools.

2.    Creating a stronger sense of mission and purpose among school employees.

3.    Building a climate of trust and mutual respect among all school employees.

4.    Discovering the value of employee participation in school district problem-solving and decision-making.

5.    Establishing an open and effective communication network among school employees.

6.    Developing an atmosphere that encourages people to work together to better serve the needs of young people in our schools.

7.    Celebrating the many positive accomplishments and contributions offered by Monroe Public School employees.
